Did ya miss me?
Well, who cares about that? For those who are curious, the reason for the lack of updates for the past few weeks was because I was in Hong Kong. TBH, it wasn’t a great trip. I did manage to have some fun times but there was also a fair [...] It feels like forever since I did a proper “loot” post but then I guess it’s because my hobby doesn’t really allow for large orders at once. Usually I get one kit at a time and a loot post of just 1 unfinished kit is a bit sad… I also haven’t really bought many PVC [...] Once again, after completing a painting project, I’m left with the difficult question of what to work on next!! It always happens so I should be used to it but it’s still hard to decide, especially with my backlog. Should I finally get around to building one of the try-GK kits I bought ages ago, [...] Well, since this is the first post of 2011, I figured the best way to start would be to post a little of my last acquisitions of 2010. Quite literally in this case as I picked them up at the closing work hours of new years eve! My PG Strike Freedom should have also arrived [...] I think I’ve been pretty open about my love for the Galaxy Fairy on this blog. Sheryl Nome is one of the few anime characters which I can say wholeheartedly that I like, a LOT!!! So it’s a bit of a mixed bag when I say that she has quite a few figures on the [...] Seeing as I received a rather large order of items a couple of weeks ago, I figured now would be a good time to post up my Summer 2010 haul. Not that there was that much before as I haven’t been buying much until chara hobby, which takes up a large chunk of both the [...] One of the worst feelings a modeller can have is that feeling that, after everything is done, you know you’ve done your best… but it’s not good enough. I’m no stranger to the feeling, especially in my early days but it’s been a while since I’ve felt it. And who would have thought it would [...] As collectors, we tend to not think too much about our purchases once they’re done. Afterall, we wanted it so we bought it! But there must be a point where a collector will look at his items and think “Yeah, I think I went overboard!” Not necessarily with the price, but with the actual item. [...] OK, I’ll level with you. Technically, this kit is not quite finished yet. If I had to write up a version number, it would be something like 0.95. The problem is that I don’t have the confidence or ideas right now at my current level to do that remaining 0.05. Add to that a certain [...] Ever had that feeling where your goal seems to be further away even as you get closer to it? I’m there right now with Sheryl! All the parts are painted (OK, the huge bow needs a little more work) but each time I look at her, I keep thinking that I need to do more!! [...] |
