Ever had that feeling where your goal seems to be further away even as you get closer to it? I’m there right now with Sheryl! One thing [...] Well, I did say that I didn’t buy any of the garage kits I liked at the event but that doesn’t mean that I went away completely empty handed! I made a few orders via tokyohunter, before the event and he managed to get me a few items. And here they are! They’re a little different [...] With all that was shown at Wonder Festival a few weeks back, it was easy to miss a few things in amidst all the clutter of awesome GK and the big companies vying for attention. I had planned to do a mini-review of Bioshock 2 for this weeks post, but unfortunately my Xbox 360 decided to do the inevitable and gave me a RROD. Damn… I think I’ve collected up enough photos now… With wonderfestival set to occur this weekend, I’m preparing myself for my usual custom of going through large numbers of Japanese sites for event coverage and pics to pick out some of the kits which stand out to me. Man, that took them long enough! Volks have just updated their figures page with colour pics of their 1/4 scale Ayane from ninja gaiden Sigma 2!! And I’m left with a bit of a “meh” feeling, much like how she was when the kit was lacking colour. It’s still not a bad kit, but it simply [...] Another year, another momotato style roundup! Here we go!!! I really wanted to put in Eden of the East in there as well as I thought that was a great show, but since it didn’t end and we still have to wait for a conclusion, it didn’t feel right to include it. At [...] A link to 2chan provided by figure.fm member, chuachuram provided a little fun today in the form of the first pic I have seen of the 1/4 scale Ayane kit from volks, sculpted by Chorosuke. Looks like the next volks GK to be made after the Toushin Toushi 3 kits has been announced on their site!! Well, sorta… Looks like we’re going to be treated to a kit of Ayane, best known for her role in the Dead or alive games, but in this case, it seems that it will be [...] |
