“No battle plan survives contact with the enemy.”
Colin Powell
*Sigh* I had hoped to have found a little stability for my current situation by now but alas it was not meant to be. As it stands, I may need to find a new place to live in a months time which makes doing big projects rather troublesome. I don’t even want to think about what it’ll be like moving all my gear…
There is a chance that it won’t happen (and I had hoped to have it sorted by now) but until then, my projects are limited. Having said that, I remembered that I had an old Asagi kit from Taimanin Asagi, one of the last recast kits I purchased a long time ago before I went cold turkey on recasts. If you don’t know the source material, don’t worry. If you do, well good for you… This kit doesn’t really hint much on her origin though.
Seemed like a waste to just leave her, and a large portion of the cleanup was already done (I must have started and then moved on to something else) so she’s part way done already. In fact, she’s almost primed and ready for painting! And since it’s a recast, I don’t mind too much if anything happens to her in transit.
And as soon as she has reached this stage something else has come up! Still modelling related mind you, but I’m not really able to talk about it yet. It is kinda cool tho. In any case, I have a few things to do in the meantime while trying to sort out this housing issue of mine…
HLJ also seem to be doing the special decals again for certain macross items so I *could* get another set and try my VF25 again… Or maybe not.
And on top of all that, I’m still trying to contact Tokyo Hunter with regards to Chara Hobby this weekend. His site has pretty much gone dark… Only a few days left to put an order in…

aRGh, I hate shifting house….I had to spend like an entire weekend to pack up everything and making sure nothing happens in transit…
Hope you won’t have to move
A weekend? I think I’d need the better part of a week to pack and move everything in my room! Not looking forward to it if I don’t pull this off. Shame cos I’m living in a pretty convenient location at the moment…
Gotta keep trying!!
moving is a bitch especially for collectors like us, and I imagine you have quite a lot more stuff than even I seeing your room pics and consider the years you’ve collected…I’d volunteer to help if you lived close by but instead let me offer you best regards
I think I’ve told you before but I’m re-decorating the house, so moving things from one room to another is stressful enough, I don’t even want to think about having to move things from one house to another any time soon.
@Lee: your offer is noted and appreciated, but at least now you know exactly why I’m not willing to start KOS-MOS quite just yet!
@Nemphtis: Well, if I could get my stuff out of my room, that’s pretty much half the battle won! It’s really the act of moving everything rather than the distance, although finding extra space to hold everything in my room within my flat would probably be challenging.
